John Smith here, wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving. The road was tough and paved with food we couldn’t grow, because we didn’t know how to. We came to the new world, at least new for us, with hopes of gold, just like the Spaniards had done in South America. So in fine tradition we tried emulating the Spanish form of diplomacy – Enslavement of the Natives. But that didn’t pan out too well. So we tried enslaving our Puritan wives and men. The colonialists weren’t having any of that. So we died. Yep; we were lazy incompetent, arrogant – still are I might add. But don’t let that spoil your festivities I’m sure everything worked out fine.
